On February 16, 2014 I was traveling up the coast with my dog and needed a place to sleep. I called the Vagabond Inn. Mr. Gary Baker, at the front desk, confirmed that a room was available and offered to hold one for me. When I arrived at the Inn Mr. Baker was very courteous and provided excellent customer service. The Room was nice and clean; the bed had 4 pillows and was very comfortable. The pool, hot tub and pet area were clean and well maintained. The hotel is only a few hundred yards from the Ventura Pier which was a nice surprise. The winter room rate was a good value; so, I ended up staying two nights. There was good coffee, fruit and breakfast treats in the lobby. Hotel staff were very helpful and I am looking forward to staying there again. Thanks
