The El Paso area's many trails appeal whether you're looking for outdoor adventure or just need a chance to stretch your legs. El Paso locals love the Lost Dog Trailhead, which is walk-friendly, bike-friendly, and dog-friendly.

Hikers in Franklin Mountains State Park will be treated to amazing views. For particularly safety-minded visitors, the park often offers ranger-led weekend tours. To skip the hike without missing out on the view, consider the Wyler Aerial Tramway, an aerial cable car that takes visitors up nearly 200 acres of the eastern side of the Franklin Mountains.
