60 Years of Trusted West Coast Hospitality

For 60 years, Vagabond Motor Hotels, Inc. extended the Vagabond Inn brand on the West Coast: with hotels in California, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon and Washington. The brand was destined to become a familiar and trusted lodging brand to Californians and West Coast travelers. And Vagabond Inn soon became synonymous with affordable and comfortable lodging and friendly service.

Expanding Vagabond Inn's Signature California Ranch Style Hospitality

In 1994, Vagabond Motor Hotel, Inc. and Imperial Hotel Corp. merged and flagged all Vagabond Inn properties, and continued expansion on the West Coast. The Vagabond Inn offer inviting California ranch style locations, ranging in size from 25 to 200 guestrooms, and provide a comfortable, home-like atmosphere. Each guest is welcomed by a friendly staff and treated with the same courtesy and graciousness you would show guests in your own home.

Vagabond Inn's Growth and Expansion

The success of this collaboration led to the launch of Vagabond Inn Corporation, which is now owned by Vista Investments. The franchising gives the Vagabond Inn brand the opportunity to expand more quickly and in more locations.
