Vagabond Inn Guest Reviews

My husband and I recently stayed at a Vagabond Inn in Hacienda Heights California. It was a very comfortable stay. Although the place was no-frills, it was clean and comfortable. The proprietor was very friendly and was open for conversation with a smile. It's a small and cozy Inn on an Avenue where eating establishments are a walking distance away. We had a choice of a Mexican chicken fast food place called Pollo Loco, jack-in-the-Box, Oriental restaurant. A small drive down the same road will bring you to Denny's restaurant. The Inn has a variety of breakfast items such as three or four different breakfast cereals, hard-boiled eggs, sliced bread (they provide a toaster), coffee or tea, breakfast juice, and some sweet breakfast rolls. It's a low-key no-frills kind of a place; You have to ask for an iron and ironing board at the desk, but it has a family home feeling to it. We felt we could let our hair down in this place; we had booked at a well known "Inn and suites" which charge $200 more for a room that looked like a one bedroom apartment but had no closets. I felt like I would have to walk around with my nose in the air all the time. I was happy to know that there are a few chains in this part of the country. We are looking forward to our next stay.

Great place. The rocker/recliner was a great relief after our drive to get there. Staff was great and the breakfast menu was very fulfilling. We had a great weekend getaway.

I stayed at this hotel last weekend and was pleasantly surprised. Staff was friendly, room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Will definitely stay here next town I am down that way.

I stayed here for 8 nights and it was WONDERFUL!! - the room was very nice, clean and comfortable had everything I might have needed. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding so soft. I would highly recommend to anyone. Also the maid service during my stay was amazing. Can not think of one negative thing about this place - will stay again when I return to visit my son and his family

We enjoyed our two nights. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Great Breakfast.
